James Golden has spent over two decades in health and fitness.  Across this period, James has become a trusted source as a keynote speaker at industry shows and has featured in publications such as Grazia, Brides, Luxury Lifestyle and Women’s Health. James has also regularly featured on BBC Health Radio, covering the latest trends, news and facts in the world of health and fitness alongside various podcast appearances.

The proactive attitude of James saw him become a master trainer in the UK in the early 2000’s and work with some of the industry’s most esteemed professionals. He has also had the privilege of travelling with a range of high-profile clients in mainstream music and sport.

James has considerable experience in fitness management, where he has become a gifted leader, before setting up his own private fitness club in 2008 which developed a reputation as a five-star customer service facility. During this time, James proved his business acumen, strategic planning, P&L management and entrepreneurial spirit. At the heart of this was, of course, the customer and their experience – high-net-worth individuals with whom he built connections to better understand their needs and guide business development.

James set up his consultancy service in 2021 to provide bespoke health and wellness support to luxury hotel, spa and gym operators. During this time, James has provided consultancy to the likes of Bamford Wellness and The Barons Eden Group – owners of Hoar Cross Hall and Eden Hall Spa. In addition, James has also consulted on specific health and wellness projects for the Renewable Energy Solutions group and GVO Capital.

Being a keen sports enthusiast, James takes pride in his own fitness regime on a daily basis and adopts a practice that you must ‘practise what you preach’, which is why he is recognised as an elite fitness expert amongst his peers.

A mantra of James has always been ‘You get back what you put in’, and in 2022, James was announced as a trustee to the Melanoma Fund charity, where he now supports the charity in raising the awareness of the dangers associated with excessive sun exposure, in particular within outdoor sport and recreation and via a series of PR campaigns.
